Youth Citizenship Commission finds majority in favour of Votes at 16

The Youth Citizenship Commission has just published the results of its consultation on whether or not to lower the voting age, and the good news for the campaign is that 64% of those who responded were in favour.
Labour MP: “Votes at 16 will be in the Labour Party’s next manifesto.”

Labour MP Andrew Gwynne has been writing on the Labour grassroots website LabourList in favour of Votes at 16, and according to him, it’s going to be in the next Labour Manifesto.
